A consultation, not a sales meeting.
The consultation runs 45 to 60 minutes. It opens with a focused conversation about what brought you in: the history of your dentition, anything you’ve been told elsewhere, and what you want from the next twenty years. A clinical exam follows, plus any imaging we don’t already have.
We then review the imaging with you, on screen, and walk through the realistic options. Most patients leave with a written plan: which procedure fits, what’s involved, the timeline, and the cost. If the right answer for you is a procedure we don’t perform, we’ll tell you that and refer you to someone who does.
You will not be pushed into a same-day decision. We don’t operate on commission, and we don’t run a yes-or-no-today booking model. The point of the consultation is to give you enough information to make a sensible decision after you’ve had time to think.
A short list that makes the time count.
- Recent dental imaging: panoramic X-ray, CBCT scan, periapical films, or a 3D intraoral scan. If you have these from another practice, bring them or have them forwarded ahead of the appointment.
- Medication list: all prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, and supplements. Anticoagulants and bisphosphonates in particular shape surgical planning.
- Medical history summary: diabetes, cardiac history, immune-system conditions, prior surgeries, allergies.
- Any prior treatment plans or quotes: we’ll review them honestly against your case, not competitively against other practices.
- Your real questions: there is no list of “wrong” questions. Bring them written down if it helps.
Two ways to reach us.
Use the form above to send your details and we’ll follow up within one business day. If you’d prefer to speak with someone directly, call (416) 499-7878. Front desk hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM. A consultation slot is usually available within one to two weeks.
Either route gets you to the same outcome: a private consultation with Dr. Metwally, a review of your imaging, and a real treatment plan.
Honest framing on consultation fees.
Consultation fees and insurance coverage will be confirmed at booking. Imaging fees, where additional imaging is required, are quoted separately and discussed before any imaging is taken. In most cases the consultation fee is credited toward treatment if you proceed.
For published price ranges on treatment itself, including single implants, full-arch fixed, zygomatic, and financing, see cost & financing. For the full clinical journey from first consultation through final restoration, see your treatment journey.
